Hi guys,

we are now down to 31 JIRAs opened for 2.0.8. This is a drop of 80
issues compared to last week.

Obviously, the remaining issues are a bit more complex. Not all of them
are clear enough to be fixed (they either lack of description, test
cases, or environment). Thsi is due to our lack of reactivity too (when
we don't respond to a JIRA quickly, the user simply switch to another
solution, or find a workaround but forget to update the JIRA about it.
In any case, this is our fault).

That being said, here is the current status :

Number of opened issues for 2.0.8 : 31
- 1 blocker
- 0 critical !
- 28 major
- 2 minor

there are a few SSL related issues, if you have time to have a look at
it, Jean-Françaois, that would help :

https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/DIRMINA-782 : Combination of
SslFilter & FileRegionWriteFilter causes messageSent events to be lost
https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/DIRMINA-891 : SSLHandler throws
SSLException during handshake that sequence number triggers
https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/DIRMINA-927 : NPE SSL Handshake
https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/DIRMINA-937 : sslfilter hangs with
openjdk works with oracle?
https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/DIRMINA-939 : SSL Renegotiation DOS
https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/DIRMINA-962 : Immediate session
close with a SSL filter

We just need a status (should we postpone, close with a won't fix, or
fix them).

I will continue to analyse the existing JIRAs, fix a few of them, and
probably postpone the remaining ones.

I hope we can start to cut a release this week-end !

Thanks !
