Allow users to define 'aliases' which refer to hosts configured according to
the [ssh_config|http://www.gsp.com/cgi-bin/man.cgi?topic=ssh_config] format so
that when the code invokes _connect(host, port, etc...)_ the _host_ value may
refer to an *alias* which has been read from the configuration file.
