I think I have found a potential cause for the hang up : the
{{DefaultWriteRequestQueue}} inner class in
{{DefaultIoSessionDataStructureFactory}}, which was using a
{{ConcurrentLinkedQueue}} instance, is also declaring some of its method
{{synchronized}}, which does not make sense.
