Seems you understand this stuff - so let me ask you this: can the public key be
recovered from the private one ? If so, how can the code be fixed. I am
reluctant to add a patch that I cannot re-produce its success or make the tests
succeed. I am renewing my offer to you to also help fix the failing test.
