There is no defined timeframe for releases. A usual moto at The ASF is 'release early, release often' [1] FTR, MINA has been released 4 times (2.0.10, 2.0.11, 2.0.12 and 2.0.13) between mid-december 2015 and mid-february 2016, and 3 times (2.0.14, 2.0.15, 2.0.16) between end of august 2016 and end of october 2016.
