When a file is modified via one process, its contents are not immediately 
updated on the disk/file-system unless explicitly requested. This may cause 
"corrupted" data to be reported if another process attempts to access the 
created/modified file too soon after it has been "successfully" modified by the 
original process.

We will add a configurable option - default=_true_
