Your own code seems to indicate that it is not an SSHD issue - we use Java
Crypto API or Bouncycastle - so we depend on what they support. Anyway, FYI we
plan to retire RSA and DSA support as they are deemed weak security (see
SSHD-1004) so I suggest you switch to either EDDSA or ED25519 keys a.s.a.p.
since it's not just us retiring these keys but also OpenSSH and others
