Thank you for the explanation and for pointing out the relevant code.
I'm using Android, so I cannot pass JVM -D arguments directly. I'll try
using System.setProperty("org.bouncycastle.emulate.oracle", "true") during
application startup and report back whether it works.
The proposed change in SignatureFactory also looks reasonable. Thanks!
