Congrat for these new releases, thanks for the hard work, and also
thanks for those who spent times voting the releases!
I'll announce it on Fosstodon.
I have a couple of question regarding the website:
- first, should we add 3.0.0-M7 on the left menu belox the SSHD 2.20.1?
We could. But then link to the same page? (It does give the download
links for both, and I don't maintain separate pages for the 3.0 stream
yet -- I'd prefer to keep the update effort low when new releases come
out, and while we're doing pre-releases only I don't think we need
separate download pages for older pre-releases. Once we promote the
3.x stream to a true release, we'll also do separate download pages
per release, as currently for the 2.x stream.)
- second the SSHD main page does not have a 'news' section, do you want
me to add one? (the idea is to annonce each version on the main page)
The MINA "News" section is very long. If we do have a "news" section for
SSHD, it should only have the latest one or two entries, and all older
ones only linked. Which, of course, adds another thing to update with
each release. And it kind of duplicates the release notes, which all
_are_ linked from the main download page(s).
Personally I'm not too keen on adding a "news" section, but if consensus
here is that there should be one, I won't oppose.
Cheers,
Thomas
