Do you have both hxplayer and splay pulling from the same libraries? If
not... do you have the hardware accelerated codecs in both locations?
How did you add the hw accelerated codecs? Did you just build splay and
then copy over the hw accelerated codecs (the *.so file) into the splay
output directory? If so... do you have both duplicate codecs (i.e. did
you build the pure software h264 codec in your hxplayer/splay build so
now you have a race condition on which codec gets used at runtime?)
