I second on this.
Midinux is not so open for everybody to put SW on it without sign some
"NDA" with them.
That makes ISVs have to tightly couple their works to EVERY OSVs.
I don't think this is a healthy ecosystem.

With Moblin, it is easy to install applications and handle package
dependency by apt.
I don't think you can easily put your applications on Midinux.
You have to handle all dependency by your self ( or contact RedFlag ).

available MID devices. Ubuntu Mobile Edition is the other. Both are 'Moblin
Compliant' meaning if you write an application using the plain Moblin stack, it
should run on both distributions. Pre-built UME images are available at
