Also... you can take advantage of the fact that we bind mount /tmp (i.e. the
target and your main system both see the same files in /tmp.)
Sometimes when I'm doing a lot of heavy lifting in a project or target chroot,
I'll bind mount my working source directory into the project or target root.
For example:
Normal Host$ sudo mount --bind \
/my/normal/source/dir \
/path/to/project/targets/TARGETNAME/fs/mnt/
... now, inside my target, I can 'cd /mnt/myproject' and do things like 'make
install' where I'm editing the source from outside the chroot using all my
normal tools in my normal environment.
The caveat to this method is that whenever MIC is closed, it will cleanup all
the leftover bind mounts, so just don't close MIC while you are working this
way.

I normally copy to/from the chrooted target file system from my host system.
From your host machine you will find the chrooted target file system at
<your_platform_project_path>/targets/<your_target_name>/fs

Subject: [Moblin Dev] Copying files to a target with MIC
Hi,
Probably it's quite a stupid question but... how can I copy a file or files
to the Moblin target with MIC? I don't know how to access my system files
from the chrooted target filesystem through the terminal.
Thanks a lot,
Javi
