Hello List,

I was testing out the sample clutter apps in the qemu/kvm environment launched
by MIC and I noticed a few things.

The clutter apps are 800x480 and they do not fit in the qemu/kvm window. See
helloworld_qemu-kvm<http://moblin.org/repos/users/deckerf/helloworld_qemu-kvm.png>.
The space within the qemu/kvm window to render the app is only 797 pixels in
width, so my question:

How accurate of a representation of the actual device/environment are we seeing
from qemu/kvm? If app developers are going to use qemu/kvm to see what their
apps look like and if the app looks off, then they will make changes... And
maybe they are led to make a change falsely because qemu/kvm isn't actually how
the real thing looks... ( see
apple_qemu-kvm<http://moblin.org/repos/users/deckerf/apple_qemu-kvm.png> for a
look at Clutter Apple, and note the green line to the left of the caterpillar
actor. Here are the same apps running on a normal desktop:
helloworld_desktop<http://moblin.org/repos/users/deckerf/helloworld_desktop.png>,
 apple_desktop<http://moblin.org/repos/users/deckerf/apple_desktop.png> )

Thank you for your input.
Felicia
