Hi

I try to using the MIC to create projects on Fedora during the past several days.

And I found that If by some reason the process is aborted or canceled in the middle, the previous downloaded package can no longer be used . I have to Delete the whole contents in the project dir or choose another empty dir. Even if I create a new project and copy the package downloaded in the previous operation to the current project's yum cache dir, it do not help, they won't be used.

So this really give me much trouble , since I can only access the moblin.org's yum repository with 5-10KByte/s. The create project and target process might need 3-8 hours, If by any reason the process is aborted, I have to wait another 3-8 hours..... So actually the whole process cost me 3 days. Really painful, It made me rush into saving and backup the project immediately after I finish the creating process.

   So :

1. Can the script be improved to check the abnormal abort operation , and continue the job from the break point ? Since the yum itself is ok for this, I guess we just need to improve a little bit of the install script.

2. Even with current strategy, say restart every thing from the beginning, Still there are some problems: If I cancel the operation, the project dir is not cleaned, there are some dir is not unmounted say /proc /sys /dev , I can unmount some of them. But /dev/pts could not be unmounted. Thus I had to create another empty dir to restart the project create operation.

   Any better solution ? Thanks.

Raymond
