Owen,

So is the real problem that the boot device should be /dev/sda2 instead
of /dev/hda1? I was facing a similar boot problem when I tried "Install
USB" with the MIC (approximately a month back).

When I boot following kernel cmdline from grub, booting is okay. How can
I change the kernel options before making install image?

boot=/dev/sda2

Thanks,
Owen

Subject: [Moblin Dev] Broken install image from image-creator

Hello

I created a gutsy-lpia image from recent version of image-creator, but
the install image failes to boot with following error message. Am I
missing something or is image-creator unstable currently?

.......
Begin: Running /scripts/local-top ...
Done.
Begin: Waiting for root filesystem... ...
Done.
        Check root= bootarg cat /proc/cmdline
or missing modues, devices: cat /proc/modules ls /dev
ALERT! /dev/hda1 does not exist. Dropping to a shell!
.....
(initramfs)

Thanks,
Owen
