Hi list, we're using an Atom/GMA500 module in an embedded project that will run Linux.
After some looking around the web I come to the conclusion that Moblin is as much of an Intel-supported outlet for this sort of code as there is. So could you please satisfy my curiousity: - Where do I find the latest kernel source (patchset, git tree, tarball...) supporting these platforms? I know there is http://repo.moblin.org/moblin/development/core/ia32/os/i586/kernel-menlo w-2.6.29.rc5-28.1.moblin2.i586.rpm, but where does development happen? - Why are all kernel trees on git.moblin.org listed under "deprecated"? - I read that Moblin switched from being based on Ubuntu to Fedora. Is there any cooperation between Moblin and Redhat? Will standard Fedora start to support Menlow/Moorestown any time soon? Or are there plans of upstreaming these patches to Linus' tree? - Are there Intel employees actively working on Linux for Menlow/Moorestown? Is Moblin the right place to look for this code? - Can anyone provide some insights about the status of the GMA500/PowerVR graphics driver for X? It seems the only support ever released in a community-friendly way (xf86-video-psb) is related to Moblin , but updates stopped almost exactly one year ago. Is this still a good place to get involved?
