Hi Andy you can set a password in a terminal during the image creation process
in the MIC select the target and use the terminal to chroot into the image. set password for root and ume by typing eg sudo passwd root you will have to supply new password (of your choice) twice Use the same syntax for user ume if you use that fset That's it build a new Target image, create your USB media and next time you are at the command prompt you can use the password set above. Btw unless you have a menlow platform (and your laptop certainly isnt one) you may have problems fully booting the system and getting most things to work. I found that out of the box the netbook image works better for most Intel 945/965 chipset based laptops Hope this helps Pat -----Original Message----- From: [email protected] [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of Andy Sent: 13 March 2009 09:23 To: [email protected] Subject: [Moblin Dev] login problem Hello ,I am andy I am a new moblin user.
