Hi Andy,
 Actually there's no big difference between mic1 and mic2 in MID
 support. The available packages in the moblin.org repos matter.

 If you are using mic2, the kickstart file should provide all the
 parameters of your devices, and specify which packages will be
 installed. You can start with the samples kickstart files under
 /usr/share/doc/mic2*/examples/, as Tonny has said.
 The syntax of them is simple and you can add additional packages by
 adding one line in "%packages" section. e.g. you can remove all netbook
 specific stuff and add MID specific packages which can be found in
 moblin repos (if any).
