Hello list,

It seems Ubuntu uses dash to improve bootup time and has a success.

if you run 4000 shell scripts then making each one 10% faster you can call
"success".
What we do in Moblin is to only run 4 shell scripts... at which point the speed
difference is not relevant ;-)

I'd like to know if there's a plan to use DASH instead of BASH for moblin2,

there is no such plan

or a plan to make "#!/bin/sh" scripts more POSIX?

bash you could call "posix plus"... going to dash would be a step back;
I'm not per se interested in doing that unless it's for a very good reason....
