I have experimented again with commenting-out items in the %packages section of 
netbook-core.ks.
The first was @Gnome Desktop leaving the rest enabled. I had hoped that it 
would have left me with a working X. I don't believe that I have (knowingly) 
removed any kernel section.

Removing  @Gnome Desktop appears to have messed up the graphics interface 
because I got random vertical coloured bars and nothing else. I am using the 
eeeBox as test target until the real Atom PC104 card arrives. It looks like the 
eeeBox uses the Intel GMA 950 chipset.

How can I edit/rebuild the contents of the modules in the %packages section to 
remove selected applications.?
