Hi Pierre Looking at the error message itt seems to look for the installation source on device a - normally usb device is b or c Also many USB disks come with multiple partitions. Use gparted to "blow away" all the partitions leave it unpartitioned and let MIC image creator create the partitions for you.

I have no problem burning the image to a USB pen, it's really when I try to install the image on my system that everything goes wrong. I have tried several different target configurations (Target config button in MIC1) with no luck. My system has a 2GB HDD and 512B of RAM. I get errors like this: checking device /dev/hda for installation source... mount: you must specify the filesystem type ... and Unable to open /dev/hda ... Unable to read /dev/hda ... Could not stat /dev/hda1 --- No such file or partition I have ommited many other errors. But at the end of all this I get a funny message "Install Successfully", but nothing works. Any suggestions? iRphotonics Pierre Bouffard Software Designer [email protected] www.irphotonics.com <http://www.irphotonics.comT> T 514-345-6982 x238 F 515-227-5210 _______________________________________________ Moblin dev Mailing List [email protected] To manage or unsubscribe from this mailing list visit: https://lists.moblin.org/mailman/listinfo/dev or your user account on http://moblin.org once logged in.
