The first problem seems to be due to temporary bandwidth problems (assuming it
isn't due to proxy settings (http_proxy="proxy:port") ). You should keep
trying. Eventually the following should work:
  $ sudo yum install flash-plugin

The second problem is because you can't download anything from the web browser.
It is a known missing feature that is being addressed.

Sorry for the inconvenience.
Bob

Subject: [Moblin Dev] Moblin Beta Flash Plugin

Hi,
I am trying out the new Moblin Beta and see that the flash plugin for the
browser is not built in. I tried the fix on "Known Issues" page, but I get the
following error:

Loaded plugins: refresh-packagekit
http://repo.moblin.org/moblin/releases/test/beta/os/repodata/repomd.xml: [Errno
12] Timeout: <urlopen error timed out>
Trying other mirror
Error: Cannot retrieve repository metadata (repomd.xml) for repository: moblin.
Please verify its path and try again

If I try to install Adobe Flash Player for Linux, I get a message to save the
file, but the application hangs up.

I am new to the linux/moblin environment and any suggestions on further steps
will be very helpful.

Thanks,
Meghana
