Please update your carrick (connman UI) package to make sure it is 0.0.6 above. 
On my netbook, it works well with connman 0.19 version.

I think the problem here is that connman-gnome has not been updated to
work with the latest connman API as provided by connman 0.19.
There is ongoing work on this but we have been pretty busy lately with
the Moblin Beta ;-)

If you're using the beta you should have a connectivity panel in the
Moblin UX.
