I had the question come up in the #moblin channel on freenode and I
wanted to bring it up here. The package description for empathy that
is on moblin 2 beta claims it will do IRC, but it doesn't appear to be
an account type that can be set up and searching the "Manage
Applications" PackageKit front end using the search term "irc" doesn't
return any other clients (same result searching using yum, as
expected). I was wondering if moblin is planning to ship either a
newer version of empathy so that irc is possible or planning to ship
something different all together for irc?
If packagers are needed, I would be more than willing to help if
someone could provide a link to the guidelines and processes
documentation.

P.S. - Are there any plans to add a shutdown button somewhere? or is
there one and I'm just blind?
