Hi Meghana, The 945GC chipset should be supported, and I suppose that hardware acceleration is configured on your system. I do not have such a system so that I could duplicate, nor have I access to hulu.com (since recently it's US only). Someone else should be able to help you more on this. What I can add from reading netbook forums is that the Flash plugin (closed-source) may have performance issues when playing HD video content. Users mentioned that playing the same content using VLC or Mplayer, they managed to view them properly. There are methods that one can use to download HD video content and play them locally. Therefore, I would suggest to attempt to verify whether native video players (such as VLC and MPlayer) are in a position to play HD video content for your system. I hope this helps, Simos > > -----Original Message----- > From: Simos Xenitellis [mailto:[email protected]] > Sent: Tuesday, June 02, 2009 3:59 PM > To: Rao, Meghana S > Cc: [email protected] > Subject: Re: [Moblin Dev] Moblin Beta on Atom Single Core + Poulsbo > > On Tue, Jun 2, 2009 at 7:01 PM, Rao, Meghana S <[email protected]> > wrote: >> Hi, >> I am running the Moblin Beta (moblin-netbook-ux-bets-20090518-004 ) on the >> Atom single core / Poulsbo platform and below is a list of problems I am >> seeing. >> >> 1: The total boot time is 50 s >> 2: Application failure on boot up: /usr/libexec/notification-daemon, >> /usr/bin/metacity, /usr/bin/Xorg, >> 3: Sometimes the browser window does not open up (inconsistent behavior). >> 4: Takes between 15 - 26s to respond to a keystroke or mouse click. >> 5: Installed Flash plugin-10.0.22.87 : But videos from hulu.com and joox.com >> do not stream.
