If you know someone that you can refer (or if you are interested
yourself) this is a great way to help a friend or colleague find a job
in this market squeeze we are all experiencing. This is a 3 month
contract set to extend out to a year for the right person. In a nut
shell, a client of mine is looking for a Linux Developer to work in
Hillsboro Oregon on next generation telephony apps utilizing Moblin
frameworks. Feel free to pass this along to anyone who may be interested
or know someone that is. A small description of the role and desired
skills is below:

Title: Linux Developer

Description: As a part of this effort we are planning on building next
generation Telephony applications specifically on Multimedia messaging
service (MMS) and Video telephony (VT). The project will leverage oFono
and Moblin frameworks for the development of the MMS and VT
applications.

Skills: Linux, C++/C, GTK, OpenGL, Clutter (preferable)

Linux development, optimization, and Configuration management tools.

They are looking for a Mid to Senior Linux Engineer/programmer.

The minimum experience required is 3+ years of Linux development

Bonus skills: Knowledge of telephony and telephony applications is
preferable.

Thanks, and best of luck out there to everyone that is searching.
