What are you upgrading, a Beta install to the latest Development tree
or an earlier Alpha release to the latest Development tree ?
From the terminal, try the following commands
sudo yum clean all #Clears out repository cache, If found that can
help with weird yum behaviour
sudo yum upgrade #Will attempt the normal upgrade
If that still fails then try
sudo yum upgrade --exclude metacity #Will attempt the normal
upgrade but not for metac
