Since the main target of Moblin is supporting most netbooks with the smallest codes possible, so we disabled many drivers that are useless for netbooks when compiling the kernel. You can grab the Moblin kernel source and change the config file in it to support whatever devices you have.
If you found that difficult or if you think that driver should be enabled (=module, for most) by default in Moblin for the greater good, please open a bug in bugzilla.moblin.org so the kernel team may consider that.
