Yes, as you found, Ryo quit from scim project months ago. And IBus is getting more and more popular, and actually I have already have a lot of discussion with IBus maintainer phuang on this. But again it depends on our schedule; currently we have some tasks with higher priority. We will try to add support to ibus in the future ASAP.
