The synaptic touchpad driver has an issue where the vertical scroll will only work for a short time after first booting,and then stop working.I believe this bug popped up after they changed the driver to not use shmconfig,as I had the same problem with the driver in debian sid,whereas the debian lenny driver,which still uses shmconfig,works fine.A patch for this problem was issued in ubuntu jaunty and i would imagine it will would be trivial to get this in moblin as well.In Debian sid a workaround is to pull down the latest git code for the synaptic driver,as they have issued a few patches that help this issue,although its not quite perfect yet as i can tell,it does make the scrolling usable again.Let me know if this will be entering moblin soon(i suppose i could also use the git code on moblin as well,but ill wait and see what happens) _______________________________________________ Moblin dev Mailing List dev@moblin.org
