Can someone suggest the location of xorg.conf on moblin? I am trying

the default path is /etc/X11/xorg.conf, just like it should be.

I think what can be confusing is that we don't normally use an xorg.conf
since we take advantage of how the Xserver will automatically configure
itself without the need to create a config file.

But... like Auke mentioned above, if you do create an xorg.conf and
place it in the standard location then X will pick it up and use it.

I don't have a device handy to verify this, but IIRC you can just run
'Xorg -configure' from runlevel 3 (basically with X not running) to
generate an xorg.conf

Another handy trick is to check /var/log/Xorg.0.log - it always spits out its internal config which you can copypasta to /etc/X11/xorg.conf and modify appropriately. Useful if you only need to change a couple parameters.

cheers,

Kris
