Bickley start to scan media when it found new source, which is by design. Sometimes it is annoying that you have to wait for a long time till Bickely finishing scan that you can umount the disk safely. Personally I think it is better to popup a hint before Bickey background scanning start, to let user choose "Yes" or "No".

I have booted the modified kernel, modprobed ext4 reiserfs ntfs (they r automatically loaded anyway when u try to mount the corresponding fs), and mounted my 3 parttitions, ntfs didn't work fine, so I download ntfs-3g source and compiled&&installed it, remounted ntfs partition and it's ok. but, the file indexer crashed after I mounted the first partition, my fedora partition (ext4), here is the message that appeared: Application failure message 1: Program: /usr/libexec/bkl-investigator Type: Aborted. [New process 757] #0 0x00a0bbf6 in raise () from /lib/libc.so.6 #0 0x00a0bbf6 in raise () from /lib/libc.so.6 #1 0x00a0d908 in abort () from /lib/libc.so.6 #2 0x00bc4e59 in g_logv () from /lib/libglib-2.0.so.0 #3 0x00bc4f07 in g_log () from /lib/libglib-2.0.so.0 #4 0x00bc38f8 in g_malloc () from /lib/libglib-2.0.so.0 #5 0x00bd6b08 in g_strndup () from /lib/libglib-2.0.so.0 #6 0x0804e461 in g_queue_pop_head () #7 0x0804c590 in g_queue_pop_head () #8 0x0804c73d in g_queue_pop_head () #9 0x00bbbe77 in ?? Thanks guys for ur help -- A.M _______________________________________________ Moblin dev Mailing List [email protected] To manage or unsubscribe from this mailing list visit: http://lists.moblin.org/listinfo/dev or your user account on http://moblin.org once logged in.
