several sites allow you to do that:

e.g. http://www.mail-archive.com/[email protected]/

or just google itself will work. the list is indexed in several places outside
of
moblin.org.

that's unfortunately the way it is, and the reason why developers usually run
away
from forums after a while, even if they try hard to read them. To developers,
forums are exactly that: and unorganized ribbon of postings.

The way developers and users get their information is just structurally
different,
hence the problem with developers staying away from forums (in my experience
with
many projects). The only way forums end up working is that a few knowledgeable
users try to connect the users back to the developers at relevant times, but
without those, the forums turn into a soup of unfocused energy. Too much
information for anyone to process.
