Looking at revision histories for various apps, I see a lot of 'Updating for nbtk-1.2' type comments.

So a couple questions:

1) I see that around September 10th the api version was bumped from 1.0 to 1.2. The general numbering and tagging of nbtk itself, however, all seems to be 0.9, 1.0, 1.1, etc. Are these tags completely unrelated to the API version?

2) Is it going to be a clean break to nbtk 1.2? ie. Am I going to need to support a libnbtk-1.0 and a libnbtk-1.2 on the same system or can I just stick with calling it "libnbtk" and not worry about backwards compatability?

cheers,

Kris
