Arjan, Thanks for that information. We are trying out the "perf" command now.
We still do have a need for "oprofile" as it allows us to do an apple's-to-apple's comparison between two different platforms. (The other platform does not support "perf" but does currently have "oprofile") Should I put this in Bugzilla as a feature request?
