Well both my eeePC 701 and 1000HE have Atheros wireless chips which are supported extremely well by the kernel (ath5k and ath9k respectively). Do any distro support that model of chipset? If so is it using a binary blob? Unfortunately distros only have so much leverage to get hardware working, they need the support and cooperation of the vendor to make it happen. -- Andrew Wafaa IRC: FunkyPenguin PGP: 0x3A36312F openSUSE: Get It, Discover It, Create It at http://www.opensuse.org _______________________________________________ Moblin dev Mailing List dev@moblin.org To manage or unsubscribe from this mailing list visit: http://lists.moblin.org/listinfo/dev or your user account on http://moblin.org once logged in.
