Hi all,

I suspect this is a slightly dumb question but how does one set a sound theme such that libcanberra can find sounds? On our system, for instance, dalston-volume-applet is only looking in /usr/share/sounds instead of /usr/share/sounds/moblin.

In debianizing moblin-sound-theme, I see that the post-install is just to touch /usr/share/sounds and /usr/share/sounds/moblin which, I presume, lets _someone_ be aware of it. Looking at the xdg sound theme spec on freedesktop just says something like 'the index.theme will be found in {datadir}/{theme}/' so my question is, how is 'theme' set? I don't see an XDG environment variable or anything....

Obviously I'll look at the canberra source next but first I'm hoping it's something easy that someone knows off the top of their head.

cheers,

Kris
