Hello list,

This morning I noticed my fan started to come on right after starting my
asus eee 1005HA-H.

I decided to flash the bios, no change.
Then I decided to take a look at my systems processes using top.

It turned out that corewatcher and gdb are causing trouble. top shows
corewatcher consuming the entire cpu. When I kill corewatcher, gdb takes
over and also starts consuming the entire cpu.

When I also kill gdb, my system is back to normal, nice and quiet and
everything working ok.

Now the question:
Why are corewatcher and gdb being started? What default app uses them?
Is there a way for me to debug this (for instance: is corewatcher
sending error messages to a log i can tail)

Thanks in advance!

Kind regards,

Milo van der Linden
