Somehow Anjal removed my message text when I changed to "Reply all"..
I simply stated; don't blame moblin developers, blame the mobile operators. Last week I took my moblin powered netbook to an official KPN (Dutch telecom operator) store. The employee told me that he too tried to get *all* of the dongles to work on his laptop but stopped trying after a while. Officially KPN simply states "Our 3G dongles don't support linux operating systems" I hope this is temporary. I think it is the task of the mobile operators to find a solution for this. They should be able to find 3G dongle producers that do have linux drivers.
