Would you please tell us which "variant" of Moblin you used with IEGD
10.2? (IVI, netbook, or menlow?) What hardware was it running on?

I can get the IEGD 10.2 drivers to work fine on my Dell Mini 10 (not
10v) under an install based on moblin-ivi-gnome-20090819-001.img.
However, I cannot get X to work for more than a few seconds without
crashing on an install based on moblin-2.1-final-20091103-002.img.

[The problem may be the version of the X server. I have used the 1.6.3
binaries but moblin-2.1-final-20091103-002.img uses version 1.6.4 of the
X server. I haven't had time to investigate fully but a few observations
follow that may have some relevance. On the IVI install I have to boot
to a prompt and then do a "startx" - the uxlaunch just results in a
screen that is blank other than a cursor. Strangely, X was working to
some extent until I changed the display resolution from the settings UI
to match the 1366x768 of my LCD. It then became really unstable.]

[Just in case it is of interest to anyone, I see a four-fold improvement
in performance (as measured using glxgears framerates) when the hardware
acceleration is enabled on the IVI installation. An OpenGL version of
Quake also runs rather well!]

Cheers,

Sean
