Auke, thanks. I had already tried the command line with alsa but I noticed that Skype would put back the Mic volune to low each time. I missed the GUI mode that you indicated me (thanks). Skype does not touch the level setup by the GUI but the Mic level remains too low.
I have raised a bug on Skype for MID. Thanks.
