Hi,
People panel shows people from Contacts application and Empathy. It
contains 3 layers: panel UI, anerley and application related interface.
Anerley implements the logic of combining different application contacts
information, providing a constructed structure for panel UI. Application
related interface helps to get contact information from application. Contacts
uses libebook, and Empathy use telepathy-glib. You can use the following link.

For more about anerley, you can refer to

Subject: [Moblin Dev] People Panel

Hi,

I would like to extend the people panel to include information from a custom
application I am writing. This application does not use the Jabber or other
protocols but conceptually fits in with the theme of the people panel.

I would appreciate pointers and resource information on how I could attain
this. Admittedly I have not looked at the moblin code to strongly either so
I would appreciate some light shown on how the People panel is designed
(plugin interface?) and where in the code I can possibly interface to
extend.

Thanks :)

Bye for now
