SPAM and marketing e-mails are off-topic and as such detrimental to the functioning of the list. As such, they are not allowed. If things get out of hand, we'll consider more drastic measures, but for now the list benefits by having an open policy with a low threshold. We will reevaluate when needed, and feel free to ask (me, or this list) if you think it is getting out of hand.
