Current Moblin2 of Netbook version doesn't support Menlow platform If you want to test Moblin2 on Menlow, you can install Moblin2 of IVI version. http://moblin.org/projects/ivi
This IVI version includes IEGD graphic driver for Menlow /US15W chipset. If your Menlow device has UL11L chipset, you need to download another IVI version including vesa graphic driver). I am not sure if my installation is failed or booting is failed, but the issue has been occurring here. I have 2 Menlow platforms, and tried to install Moblin 2.1 for Intel(r) 5150 SW assertion issue re-produce. The installer said it was done successfully on Menlow platform, but the next booting shows the 'moblin' flash screen and stop. This is not the system hang since I see the HDD drive spinning sometimes. I used the same installer media (CD/USB stick) for another installation on the other systems. Dell min, Montevina platform (fifth-generation Centrino platform), and other systems show the successful installation and running Moblin. I just want to ask to the community if there is anyone aware of this issue on Menlow. I sent the same questions to Moblin community leaders, and copied to entire community again. I look forward to your advice.
