I have tried installing the Moblin 2.1 live image on a new EeePC 1005PE
twice, however the installer consistently crashes when mounting the file
systems.

My current partition setup is as follows:

(sda1) - NTFS - Windows 7
(sda2) - Ext 3 - Moblin '/'
(sda3) - FAT32 - Moblin '/home' shared
(sda4) - Swap

After both installations, the installer crashed while trying to mount
'/home' on sda3.

I tried a third install and only attempted to mount '/' on sda2; everything
proceeded as expected including a functional boot loader.

Am i right to assume that the installer cannot handle having the home
directory on a separate partition? Is there a workaround other that editing
fstab and migrating it manually after installation?

Thanks,

Clayton
