Hey Guys, Anas, this probably falls under your area of expertise. I'm looking at creating a minimal install for a Set Top Box project I'm working on. The target hardware has 1Gb flash storage and is using Intel Atom + 945GME hardware.
The plan is to have a small OS install that'll run a custom application. Are there any kickstart files you guys have used internally for installing on small devices that I might use to base mine off ? I'm currently working with the 2.1-final.ks file and seeing how I get on. The resulting image will need to be installable from a usb key, so that does limit what I can remove. I've managed to get a very basic installation running on the liveusb target and it's got a df usage report of 169M. That's not too bad. It's about 100Mb smaller than the same kickstart produced with Fedora 12 rpms.
