Hello, because of the experiences I made with moblin on my netbook I'm fascinated of the fast booting times and the great GUI of moblin. For a new project I'm looking for a fast booting linux that is used to start a Qt application in full screen mode (running on a atom based platform - 1GByte RAM/ 512MByte flash). Has anyone created a "stripped down" moblin for a similar project? I tried to use moblin-image-creator for building a small moblin. But the smallest image I was able to build was about 1,2GByte large. I just need the moblin kernel, the fast boot mechanism, X and a possibility to start my Qt based application. I know that it is not the mean goal of moblin to build systems like this - but I think it can be very interesting for a lot of applications.
Maybe there's a kickstart file available that fits my requirements.
