Hi, is there a way to run the Moblin UI *only* on an arbitrary Linux distro (say, Ubuntu), without wiping it out? I imagine I could check out a Moblin project source (which one?) from GIT repo, compile it, and ideally I could run a full-screen application, giving me the interface I see on the screenshots.
I have painfully installed Ubuntu Netbook Edition to a touch-screen enabled wall mounted PC (Afolux AFL 270). I want to use it to control my self-developed home automation software (e.g. switch lights on/off, control shades, manage settings, etc). Until now I was planning to code my own interface, using Clutter. However, I just stumbled upon Moblin, which looks like an excellent candidate for a generic UI (it also adds huge amounts of options, like easy web-browsing, calendar event display, viewing photos, etc). All this in a visually appealing way! Thanks in advance, Richard _______________________________________________ Moblin dev Mailing List dev@moblin.org To manage or unsubscribe from this mailing list visit: http://lists.moblin.org/listinfo/dev or your user account on http://moblin.org once logged in.
