Hello everyone,

I've been following these discussions for a couple of weeks or so, but I
have not yet had the chance to start real moblin development, other than
testing out the moblin on a usb key and knowing this IS the future, whether
iPhone or linux but not GNU based Android take off ... that's all crap. You
know what word I want to use. I want a full on real linux dev. environment.
I've seen mameo do some amazing things and w/ the backing from nokia / intel
I think this can too. I just want to introduce myself, Lucian (Luci for
short), and tell you how much I appreciate all your efforts. I'm dealing w/
a lot of stuff right now but really wanting to move away from webdev as it
is despite my expertise to my original love, app/systems programming in
C/C++ ... iPhone is out of the question with all the restrictions and BS.
Android ... well it's either Java or their assembly language. Crap. Mameo
like my friend who is w/ me on this was the future till Moblin. Now I can
embrace my love of C/C++ again and really develop on a full linux kernel
(most internet dev. is just hacks around hacks) ...

So enough about me. I'm totally dedicated to this in my spare time even as
demoscene stuff. I've seen some amazing stuff. I want to get back into C/C++
... long after Java and as much as I love it PHP etc. are gone, C/C++ will
still be around strong. I want to tell you I appreciate all your efforts and
I have for now, till I build a dedicated machine, have put FC12, dev tools,
and getting moblin on there to develop and port open source apps. This is
the future. The masses may not recognize it. But the masses never recognize
anything. As soon as I get stuff up and running I'll be more active. Just
wanted to introduce myself and though it may take awhile (yes I'm actually
living a life outside of code for the first time in years for me) I will do
this.

This is the real deal though I don't have to tell you guys that.

Cheers,
Lucian
