I've been trying unsuccessfully for two days to connect my dell inspiron 10n with moblin ubuntu remix 9.10 to a wireless network with WEP 128-bit passphrase authentication.
It turns out that there's a package that could work called network-manager-netbook. I found it mentioned in a chat transcript: https://wiki.ubuntu.com/MeetingLogs/openweekKarmic/MoblinRemix It's located in this unsupported repository: https://edge.launchpad.net/~moblin/+archive/ppa/ When I try to install it, however, I get the following error: $ sudo apt-get install network-manager-netbook Reading state information... Done Some packages could not be installed. This may mean that you have requested an impossible situation or if you are using the unstable distribution that some required packages have not yet been created or been moved out of Incoming.
